The Department of Sports’ Primary School Netball Competition started on 21st May 2026, with a series of exciting matchups highlighting emerging talent and strong school representation across zones.

In one of the scheduled fixtures, Beach Allen Primary was awarded a 5–0 result over Dieppe Bay Primary. The match was affected by environmental conditions and rescheduled; however, Dieppe Bay later conceded the fixture.
Outstanding performances for the match were recognized by Esmone Norford (Goal Attack) of Beach Allen Primary and Tiane Patrick (Goalkeeper) of Dieppe Bay Primary.

Cayon Primary delivered a dominant display against George Moody Stuart School, leading 15–0 at the half before the match concluded under the mercy rule. Strong attacking execution and defensive discipline were key factors, with Elisha Gibson among the standout performers.

St. Paul’s Primary secured a 17–2 victory over J.O. Williams Primary, maintaining control throughout the contest. Consistent scoring and structured team play ensured a comfortable win.

Zone 2 action saw Sandy Point Primary defeat Edgar T. Morris Primary 8–5 in a competitive encounter. Both teams showed determination, but Sandy Point maintained an edge throughout the match, with Zionsha Liddie leading from the attacking end.

Newton Ground Primary also recorded a convincing 12–2 win over Tucker Clarke Primary. Strong offensive phases and organised defensive efforts highlighted their performance, with Jacenia Powell recognised for her contributions.

As the competition progresses, teams continue to demonstrate growth, discipline, and competitiveness, setting the stage for an exciting pathway toward the later rounds.
