The St. Kitts Department of Sports will officially open the 2026 school football season on Thursday, 15 October 2026, at Warner Park Stadium.

The opening ceremony, scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m., will mark the commencement of two major school football competitions: the 2026 St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank Primary School Football Championship and the 2026 St. Kitts Department of Sports Secondary School Football Championship.

The championships will provide young footballers with an important platform to represent their schools, develop their abilities and experience organised competition. The competitions will also bring schools, families and communities together in support of youth participation and sporting development.

Opening Day is expected to set the tone for an exciting season of school football, with participating schools preparing to compete for championship honours while demonstrating teamwork, discipline and school pride.
