Basseterre, St. Kitts — The St. Kitts Department of Sports proudly joins the national sporting community in celebrating a landmark achievement for basketball in the Federation, as St. Kitts and Nevis has officially qualified to compete in the 3×3 Basketball competition at the XXV Central American and Caribbean Games in Santo Domingo 2026.

This historic accomplishment marks the first time in the nation’s history that St. Kitts and Nevis will participate in a multi-sport Games in the discipline of basketball, representing a major milestone in the continued growth and development of the sport across the Federation.

The qualification is a significant moment not only for the national basketball programme, but also for the wider sporting landscape of St. Kitts and Nevis. It reflects the dedication, hard work and persistence of all those who have contributed to the progress of 3×3 basketball locally and regionally.
